Genova Ellison, was born, Friday, March 21st, 1947, in Shiprock, New Mexico, to John Kee Harvey and Margaret Harrison. She lived a full 77 years serving the Lord, and her family, and was promoted to Heaven on Wednesday, May 1st, 2024, in Farmington, New Mexico. She was surrounded by her husband, and loving daughters. Celebration of life services will be held, Saturday, May 11th, 2024,10:00 a.m., at the Word of Life Christian Center, in Farmington, New Mexico. Interment will follow immediately after at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Farmington, New Mexico. Genova is survived by her husband, Albert Ellison, sons, Ben Harvey and Arnold Ellison; daughters, Alfreda James (Kevin James), Alisa Ellison, Arnelda Shorty (Harry Shorty); sisters, Lynda Alsburg and Mary Russell; 14 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by Margaret Harrison (mother), John Kee Harvey (father), Ben T. Harrison (father), Vivian Salt (sister), Juanita Blackwater (sister), Randy Lupe (nephew), Laura Salt (niece), Ronald Salt (nephew), Karen Blackwater (niece), Tammie Blackwater (niece), Harvey Blackwater (nephew), and numerous loved ones. Genova is loved dearly, had a huge impact on everyone she met, and will be missed tremendously.
