Born on April 12, 1958, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, John dedicated his life to his work and the land he cherished, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and commitment to the agricultural community.

John's journey began in Albuquerque, before moving to Shiprock, where he cultivated not only the earth but also lasting relationships with his family, friends, and neighbors. He was known for his unwavering dedication to his craft and the love he poured into his children. His passion for agriculture inspired those around him with his knowledge and work ethic.

He received his education through high school, where he developed an early appreciation for the value of hard work and resilience. Throughout his life, he maintained a profound respect for the land and natural resources.

A funeral service will be held in his honor on July 21, 2025, at the Desert View Funeral Home in Shiprock, beginning at 10:00 AM. Following the service, John will be interred at Shiprock Cemetery at 12:30 PM. Friends and family are invited to gather to celebrate John’s life, share their stories, and lend their support to one another during this difficult time.
