Maxine Mae Napie, 83, of Bloomfield, New Mexico passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023, in Farmington, New Mexico. Maxine is survived by seven children, Jerry and Esther Napie, Rena Burns, Max Napie, Charles Napie, Jr., Rita and Herbert Lopez, Harry and Scarlett Napie, and Theresa and Maurice Jose; eleven grandchildren, Sabrina, Michael, Savannah, Benjamin, Melissa, Lauren, Adrian, Reece, Ashley, Nea and Ana; seven great-grandchildren, Jerilyn, Lawrence, Kansas, Levi, Bailey, Taylor, and Harper; five great-great grandchildren Brandson, Declan, Raymond, Adeline and Clyde; and her sisters Marie Curley and Gertrude Bedonie. Maxine is preceded in death by her husband Charles Napie Sr., parents and sisters Stella Jackson, Julia Francisco and Elsie Johnson; brothers, George E. Yazzie, Leonard Yazzie and Jimmy Yazzie.
