Priscilla A. Johnson

Priscilla A. Johnson, June 14, 1949 - December 2, 2023, age 74, Shiprock, NM.  Devoted wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt and friend.  Priscilla passed away peacefully on December 2, 2023 in Shiprock, NM.  She was born in Shiprock, New Mexico. She was an elementary school educator for over 30 years before she retired from Central Consolidated School District. Her passion was teaching Navajo language and the culture as a bilingual educator.  Her devotion to the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, was important in her journey.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Nelson E. Johnson, and is survived by her devoted children; Petula Ayze & family, Samantha Johnson & family, Crystal Duncan & Family, Derek Johnson & family. She had 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her siblings: sister, Bernita Thompson; 3 brothers, Wilson, Roger, and Russell Billy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
